Choose from the main Goonengerry House for a spacious, design-led stay; The Writer’s Room for a quiet, creative retreat; or book the entire Goonengerry Estate to enjoy the full property exclusively.
Goonengerry House is the ultimate Byron Bay hinterland retreat. After sun-soaked days by the ocean, escape the bustle of town and retreat to a picture-perfect white farmhouse cottage, set on three lush acres beside Goonengerry National Park.
Cradled by nature and bordered by the gentle flow of Bryangerry Creek, Goonengerry House invites you to slow down and unwind. Inside, a thoughtful curation of antiques, art, designer furniture, local ceramics and objets d’art create a space that feels both grounding and inspiring—a stay that nurtures rest, creativity, and connection.
